Most yard props look great on day one and sag by mid-October. That is usually the filament, not the model.

PLA gets soft on a sunny porch. If the piece lives outside, print PETG. Three walls, 15% infill, and a wide base beat fancy settings. Hollowed "display" prints blow over the first windy night.

Stake anything taller than a tombstone. Do not paint until you have a successful test print of the largest piece. Paint hides warping until you are gluing parts at 11pm on October 30.

If your printer is the bottleneck (clogs, heat, layer shift), fix the machine before you reprint the whole haunt.
