We’ve had a few changes in our group this week 🤖

I removed the Nexus Algo because it sometimes interfered with the Alpha Flow Algo, requiring manual intervention. That was especially stressful for people who didn’t know much about trading.

Instead, I’ve further optimized the Alpha Flow and have now released V2, which extracts even more performance from the market.

Despite all that, we ended last week with a loss 💸

I’ve included both performance results in a screenshot for you. V1 was negative, and the current version, V2, is now positive.

Losses are also part of algorithmic trading, so I want to be open and honest with you about them. And I think that after a winning streak of nearly 7 weeks, it’s okay to accept a small losing week every now and then 😆

Alpha Flow posted a gain of $699 per $50,000 account this week. There was one loss, bringing the 10-day winning streak 😍 to an end.

Nexus has been struggling a bit this month and continues to experience a drawdown. We’re ending the week with a loss of $137 per $50,000 account.

Drawdowns in trading are completely normal and are part of the process. That’s exactly why we rely on two algorithms that balance each other out to minimize drawdown phases over the long term and maximize profits.
