5 meals every busy parent should have memorized
I've been cooking for my family for years, and I realized something — you don't need 100 recipes. You need 5 that you can make without thinking.
Here are the 5 categories I always fall back on when it's 6pm and I have zero plan:
1. The One-Pan Wonder — Pick a protein, toss it on a sheet pan with whatever veggies are in the fridge, season with olive oil + salt + garlic powder. 400°F, 25 minutes. Done.
2. The Pasta Rescue — Boil pasta. While it cooks, sauté garlic in butter, add canned tomatoes or cream. Toss. 15 minutes, no drama.
3. The Stir-Fry Sprint — Slice anything thin, cook it hot and fast in a wok or big skillet. Soy sauce + sesame oil + rice. Kids eat it every time.
4. The Breakfast-for-Dinner Play — Scrambled eggs, toast, fruit on the side. Nobody complains. Takes 10 minutes.
5. The Slow Cooker Set-It-and-Forget-It — Dump chicken, salsa, black beans in the morning. Come home to tacos.
I put together an entire eBook with 30+ recipes built around these exact frameworks — real meals for real busy nights. No fancy ingredients, no hour-long prep.
If that sounds like what you need, check out the Quick Weeknight Dinners eBook. It's $9.99 and it'll change your Tuesdays forever.
