How to Climb Out of Silver with Annie Mid (The Easiest LP of Your Life) 🔥

If you're stuck in Bronze or Silver mid lane, stop playing Yasuo. Stop playing Zed. Stop playing Akali. You don't need outplay mechanics to climb — you need consistency, and no champion delivers free LP like Annie.

Here's exactly how to abuse Annie to hit Gold and beyond.

---

Why Annie?

Most low elo players lose because they're fighting their own champion. Annie removes that problem entirely:

  • Point-and-click stun — no skillshots to whiff

  • One-shot combo — Flash + R deletes any squishy instantly

  • Simple CS patterns — Q refunds mana on last hit, so you literally can't run out of mana if you farm properly

  • Tibbers does work for you — drop the bear in a teamfight and he keeps dealing damage even if you die

You're not outplaying anyone. You're just punishing every mistake they make, and in Silver, they make A LOT.

---

The Gameplan (By Phase)

Laning (Levels 1-6)

  • Take Q level 1. Last hit with Q only — never use it to poke unless your stun is up AND they walk into range

  • Stack your passive to 3 stacks, then hold it. The threat of stun is stronger than the stun itself — they'll zone themselves

  • At level 6 with stun up, if they're below 70% HP: Flash + R + W + Q + Ignite = kill. Every. Single. Time.

  • Buy Dark Seal on first back. You WILL get stacks

Mid Game (Levels 6-11)

  • Shove wave with W + Tibbers, then roam bot. Your R is a guaranteed engage — bot lane ganks with Annie are disgusting

  • In Silver, people don't respect roams. Ping on my way, walk through river, drop Tibbers on the ADC. Free double kill

  • Group for every dragon. Annie teamfighting is where you truly gap the enemy team

Late Game

  • Stay with your team. You're looking for one thing: a Flash + Tibbers on 2-3 people

  • Position in fog of war near objectives. One good R wins the game outright

  • If you can't find a flank, just peel for your ADC — stun the diver and let your team clean up

---

Build Path (Keep It Simple)

Every game: Luden's → Shadowflame → Rabadon's → Void Staff → Zhonya's

Boots: Sorcerer's Shoes (always)

Runes: Electrocute, Cheap Shot, Eyeball Collection, Ultimate Hunter / Manaflow Band, Transcendence

Don't overthink the build. Same thing every game. Your decisions matter 10x more than your items.

---

The 3 Rules

  1. Never use stun randomly. Hold it. Let them fear it.

  2. Track your Flash cooldown. Your Flash IS your engage tool. When it's up, look for kills. When it's down, farm and scale.

  3. Die less than 5 times per game. That's it. In Silver, the player who dies least usually wins. Annie makes this easy because you don't need to take risky trades.

---

What You'll Learn

Annie isn't just a champion — she's a teaching tool. Playing her forces you to learn:

  • Wave management (Q mana refund makes you think about last hitting)

  • Positioning (you're short range, so you learn spacing)

  • Target selection (you have one combo — you better pick the right target)

  • Map awareness (your roams are so strong, you'll naturally start looking at the minimap more)

Once these fundamentals are locked in, you can take them to ANY champion and climb even further.

How to Escape Silver with Viego in 2 Weeks 🗡️

Viego is the single best champion to abuse in low elo right now. Here's why — and exactly how to do it.

Why Viego?

  • Resets on kills — In low elo, fights are messy and long. Viego thrives in chaos because every kill gives him a new body, a heal, and untargetability.

  • Flexible build path — You can go BOTRK → Trinity for splitpush or BOTRK → Kraken for teamfights depending on the game.

  • Easy to pick up — His kit is straightforward. Q auto-reset, W stun, E for stealth ganks, R for execute. No complex combos needed.

The Gameplan (Jungle)

Early Game (1-6)

  • Full clear every game: Red → Krugs → Raptors → Wolves → Blue → Gromp

  • Don't force ganks before level 4 unless it's literally free (enemy pushed under your tower with no flash)

  • Your first gank should always use E through a wall for stealth approach → W stun → auto → Q

Mid Game (6-14) — This is Where You Take Over

  • After first back (BOTRK components), you win almost every 1v1 in Silver

  • Look for picks on sidelane. Silver players don't respect Viego's dueling power

  • After every kill, immediately look for a possession reset into the next fight. Don't back — keep fighting while you're ahead

  • Take Rift Herald and use it mid. Silver players never answer Herald

Late Game (14+)

  • Position on the flank, not the frontline. Wait for someone to get low

  • R execute → possess → clean up. In low elo teamfights, this regularly turns into triples and quadras

  • ALWAYS ult the squishiest target first unless someone is one-tap away

3 Silver Mistakes on Viego

  1. Ganking too early — Viego is NOT Lee Sin. You scale off items. Full clear and hit your power spike first.

  2. Possessing tanks — When you get a kill and can possess, almost always take the carry or mage. Tank bodies are bait.

  3. Building wrong — Stop going lethality Viego in ranked. BOTRK first every single game, no exceptions.

The 2-Week Challenge

  • Week 1: Play 3 games/day, jungle only, Viego only. Focus on full clearing and only ganking when it's free. Track your CS/min — goal is 6+.

  • Week 2: Same thing but now focus on mid-game picks. After every game ask yourself: "Did I get 2+ solo kills between 8-14 minutes?" If not, review what you were doing instead.

If you do this consistently for 2 weeks, you'll climb. Viego punishes the chaos of low elo harder than almost any other champion.

The #1 reason you're stuck in Bronze/Silver (it's not your teammates)

Everyone in low elo blames their team. "My jungler never ganks." "My ADC is 0/7." We've all been there.

But here's the thing — if you swap a Diamond player into your exact same games, they'd win 80%+ of them. Same teammates, same "inting" bot lane. So what's actually different?

It's decisions, not mechanics.

Most Bronze-Silver players have decent enough mechanics to hit Platinum. What they lack is:

  • Wave management — Knowing when to freeze, slow push, or crash gives you a 20+ CS lead by 15 minutes without even fighting.

  • Map awareness — If you don't look at the minimap every 3 seconds, you're playing with a blindfold. That "random" gank wasn't random — you had 10 seconds of warning.

  • Win condition recognition — Not every game is won by getting fed. Sometimes you're the engage, sometimes you're the peel. Knowing your job in each game is half the battle.

I've been coaching low elo players for a while now, and the pattern is always the same: once someone actually understands why they're making a play instead of just autopiloting, they climb fast.

If you're serious about getting out, Ranked Academy is where we break all of this down — champion guides, macro breakdowns, and a community of grinders all climbing together.

Stop autopiloting. Start climbing.
