5 Things I Wish I Knew Before Starting YouTube
Been making content for a while now and these are the things nobody told me:
1. Consistency beats quality early on. Your first 50 videos will be mid. That's fine. Post anyway.
2. Thumbnails are 80% of the game. I spent months perfecting edits when I should've been testing thumbnails.
3. Talk to your audience, not at them. The comments section is your focus group. Read every single one.
4. Collabs > solo grind. One collab can do what 6 months of grinding alone can't.
5. Build off-platform. YouTube can change the algorithm tomorrow. Your community is your insurance policy โ that's exactly why I built this rewards program.
