Why most creators leave money on the table with affiliate links

Been building affiliate/referral systems for creators, and the same mistake keeps showing up: people slap one generic affiliate link in their bio and call it a strategy. That's leaving real money on the table. A few things that actually move the needle:

  1. Match the offer to the exact moment your audience is in — a link dropped mid-story converts way better than one buried in a bio.

  2. Track which platform (TikTok vs IG vs YouTube) actually converts for YOU, not what worked for someone else. Audiences behave differently per platform.

  3. Recurring commission offers (SaaS, subscriptions) beat one-time payouts long-term, even if the upfront number looks smaller — it compounds.

  4. Stack 2-3 offers in the same niche instead of one. Diversify so one dead campaign doesn't kill your whole income.

Started RefEmpire because most affiliate networks either have terrible payout offers or zero community around them. It's a place where creators compare notes, get access to vetted high-commission offers, and actually get paid on time. If you're monetizing an audience through referrals, worth a look.
