I made $47 from a $6 thrift store find. Here's exactly how.

Last week I walked into Goodwill with $20. Found a pair of Nike Air Force 1s on the shelf for $6. Scuffed, but nothing a baby wipe couldn't fix.

Before I bought them, I pulled out my phone:

  • Searched "Nike Air Force 1 size 10" on eBay

  • Filtered by Sold Items

  • Average sold price: $50-60

Bought them. Spent 5 minutes cleaning. Listed on Mercari for $55.

Sold in 2 days. $47 profit after fees from a $6 buy.

This is reselling. It's not complicated. It's not a scam. It's buying stuff people undervalue and selling it to people who want it.

The secret most people miss: you don't need to find rare items. You need to find items that sell consistently. Nike shoes, gaming controllers, Apple accessories, power tools — these move every single day.

If you want to learn the full playbook in about an hour, that's what I built here.
