If you've been applying for 3 months with no interviews, it's the resume — not you
Mid-career job hunt looks like this:
You have 8–12 years of real work. You send 80 applications. You get two auto-rejects and silence.
Most people then start rewriting their summary to sound "passionate." That's not the leak.
Hiring managers at this level skim for proof they can drop you into a team next month. They look for:
scope (team size, budget, revenue, users)
the last 5 years, not 2012
outcomes, not a list of tools you "used"
If your top bullets still start with "Responsible for," the ATS might parse you. A human will not fight for you.
Fix: take your last two jobs. For each, write 3 bullets that name a number. Cut everything older than 10 years down to one line. Put the job title you want in the headline, not "results-driven professional."
That's the whole game. Do that before you send the next 80.
