Most bettors lose money not because their picks are bad — but because their process is broken.

Here are 3 things I see constantly:

1. Chasing losses with parlays

You lose a straight bet and immediately throw a 4-leg parlay trying to make it back. That's not a strategy — that's gambling on tilt. Parlays should be a small percentage of your action, not your recovery plan.

2. Ignoring line movement

The line moved from -3 to -5 and you still smashed it? You just gave away 2 points of value. Sharp money moves lines. If you're not paying attention to where the line opened vs. where it is now, you're betting blind.

3. No unit system

Betting $50 on one game and $500 on the next with no logic behind it. Set a unit size (1-2% of your bankroll) and stick to it. Consistency is what separates winning bettors from broke ones.
