Why most 'dating advice' for men fails after 30

Most dating content out there is built for 22 year olds swiping in bulk. It doesn't work once you're 27+, working a real job, and actually want something that lasts.

Here's the shift that changes everything: stop optimizing for more matches, start optimizing for fewer, better ones. Three things that moved the needle for the guys I work with:

  1. Cut your profile down to 3-4 photos, max. One clear face shot, one full body, one doing something you're genuinely into. Every extra photo is a chance for her to find a reason to swipe left.

  1. Text like you have a life. Long response times and dry one-word replies read as busy in your 20s. At 30, they just read as uninterested. Reply with energy, keep it short, always end with something that invites a reply.

  1. Screen for compatibility early, not after 3 dates. Ask about what they actually want (casual vs serious) in the first or second conversation. You'll save yourself months.

Built a community around this exact stuff — Rizz Lab, for guys 25-35 who want a real relationship, not another dating app grind. Link in my profile if that's you.
