New: snap a photo of a table, get a spreadsheet 📸 → 📊

Someone sends you a WhatsApp photo of a checklist or a price grid. Until now, you'd type it over.

Rowvio now finds the ruled lines in the photo, works out every row and column from them, and reads each cell on its own. Even a column of nothing but "X" marks lands in the right place.

✓ Two-line headers ("Aircon regas") come out as one column name

✓ Notes under the table (*, **) go to a Details sheet

✓ Anything it isn't sure of is shaded amber, so you know what to check

Try it with a photo from your phone:

I got tired of retyping PDFs into Excel. So I built something.

At work we kept running into the same problem. A quote, an invoice or a statement comes in as a PDF, and someone sits for an hour copying it line by line into a spreadsheet. Then you check it. Then you find a typo. Then you do it again next month.

I've heard the same from accountants, bookkeepers and admin staff. It's boring, slow work, and it's where mistakes creep in.

So under TaskMind-AI I built Rowvio.

You drop in a PDF, a scan, or even a WhatsApp photo of a document, and Rowvio:

→ finds the tables and labelled values on its own

→ shows you exactly what it picked up, highlighted on the page

→ lets you drag, rename, resize or remove anything before you export

→ checks that subtotals add up and flags anything it isn't sure of

→ gives you a clean Excel file, or data ready for apps like QuickBooks and Xero

A few things I cared about:

• Your files stay in your browser. Nothing gets uploaded to a server.

• Scans and password-protected PDFs work too.

• It reads more than English. I tested it on Afrikaans documents, for example.

• Save it once, run it on a hundred. Turn one PDF into a template and every PDF from the same sender lands in one spreadsheet.

I'm looking for people to test it on their real, messy documents and tell me where it breaks. That's how it gets better.

Try it free:

If you know someone who spends their week retyping PDFs, tag them. 🙏
