The bottleneck is almost never your hardware. It's the capture pipeline. Most software does a full desktop capture, encodes it, then sends it — even if you only need one window. That's wasted resources eating into your FPS.

Direct game hooking vs. screen capture — if your mirroring tool hooks directly into the game's render pipeline, you skip the compositor entirely. Lower latency, less CPU overhead, cleaner output.

Resolution ≠ quality. Streaming at native 4K means nothing if your bitrate can't keep up. Smart downscaling with sharpening filters looks better at half the bandwidth.
