Trying to be better

The one thing that actually made me a consistent runner

I tried everything. Couch to 5K apps. Motivation videos at 5 AM. New shoes. None of it stuck.

What actually worked? Other people counting on me to show up.

When I started texting a friend "I'm going at 7," I couldn't bail. When I posted my miles somewhere public, I couldn't fake it. When I saw someone else grinding through a bad run, I couldn't skip mine.

Accountability isn't a hack — it's the only thing that works long-term for most people.

That's why I built The Run Club. It's a small group of beginner runners who check in daily, run weekly challenges together, and actually hold each other to it.

If you've been "trying to get into running" for months and keep falling off, this might be what you need. Not another plan — a crew.
