Hey everyone,

I wanted to share something I've been working on because I think it fills a gap that genuinely doesn't get talked about enough.

I spent weeks going through peer-reviewed research on shift work sleep disorder — studies from Harvard Medical School, McGill University, Flinders University, NIH, and CDC — and turned it into a practical PDF bundle specifically for night shift workers, nurses, security guards, factory workers, and anyone who sleeps during the day.

The thing that surprised me most during the research: almost all mainstream sleep advice actively harms shift workers. Sunrise alarms, morning sunlight, consistent 10pm bedtimes — these are all built for people who wake up at 7am. For someone sleeping from 8am to 4pm they do the opposite of what's intended.

What I built — the Night Shift Survival Kit:

A 6-part PDF bundle covering sleep timing, circadian reset protocols, meal and energy planning, a weekly sleep tracker, a days off recovery plan, and a social life scheduler — all built around shift schedules, not 9-to-5 advice.

Price is $19 one-time. No subscription.

What I found most surprising from the research:

— Melatonin suppression begins at just 5-10 lux. Standard blackout curtains let in 10-50 lux through edge gaps. Most shift workers think their room is dark enough — it almost never is.

— Harvard research found that nighttime eating increases glucose by 6.4% in shift workers. Restricting eating to daytime hours prevented this entirely. Meal timing matters as much as what you eat.

— The caffeine half-life varies from 2-12 hours depending on genetics. "Cut caffeine 6 hours before bed" is a minimum — for some people it should be 10 hours.

Happy to answer any questions about the research or the product. If you work nights or know someone who does, this was built for exactly that situation.
