Roblox scams are getting smarter. Here's exactly how they work.

Most Roblox players think they'd never fall for a scam. Then they see a link that looks exactly like the real Roblox login page, click it, and lose everything in under 60 seconds.

It happens to experienced players too. Not because they're dumb — because scammers are specifically designed to fool people who think they're careful.

Here's what the most common attacks actually look like:

---

1. The Fake Login Page

You click a link — maybe from a Discord DM, a YouTube comment, or a trade chat — and it takes you to a page that looks exactly like Roblox. Same colors. Same layout. Same logo.

The URL is the only difference. And most people don't check.

You type your username and password. Nothing happens. You close the tab. A few hours later your account is gone.

How to stop it: Before you type anything, look at the browser address bar. The only real Roblox URL is roblox.com. Not roblox-login.com, not rblx.gg, not any variation. If it's not roblox.com, close the tab immediately.

---

2. The Free Robux Giveaway

"We're giving away 10,000 Robux to 100 players. Click here to claim yours before it expires."

It's always urgent. It's always expiring. It always requires you to log in or enter your account information somewhere.

Roblox does not give away free Robux through links, DMs, or giveaway accounts. Full stop. No exceptions.

---

3. The Trusted Friend Message

A player you've traded with before messages you: "Bro check this out, I just got 50K Robux free from this site."

Their account got hacked an hour ago. Now the scammer is using their account to send the same link to everyone on their friends list.

---

What to do right now:

  • Enable 2-step verification on your Roblox account (takes 2 minutes)

  • Never click login links sent through DMs, comments, or in-game chat

  • Check the URL before you type anything, ever

These aren't complicated habits. They just need to be automatic.

If you want a full breakdown — how to verify suspicious links, what to do if you already clicked something, and a full account recovery checklist — that's what the SafeBlox cheat-sheet covers. Built for players who want a fast, scannable reference they can actually use.
