How these rules work

Every Scroll campaign starts from the thirteen numbered rules below. The same rules, with the same numbers and in the same order, are in the box called Content requirements on every campaign. Here is how to find that box:

Open the Content Rewards tab on Whop.

Open the campaign.

Scroll down to the box called Content requirements.

That box is the only place your clip can be judged from. Nothing said in Discord, in chat, in the course or in this post can be used to reject your clip. If this post and a campaign's Content requirements ever say different things, the campaign wins. Then we fix this post.

Every rejection names the rule you missed by its number and name, and the version of the campaign rules we used. For example: Rule 7, Disclosure, brief v2. So you can find that rule and read the exact line you were judged on.

Between one version of a campaign and the next, only the words inside a rule can change. Rule 7 is always the disclosure rule. A rule never moves to a new number.

The thirteen rules

Rule 1: Pay

Each campaign tells you five things about pay, in this order:

The CPM (the amount you earn for every 1,000 views).

The smallest payout one clip can get.

The biggest payout one clip can get.

The total budget (all the money the campaign has to pay out).

The minimum view count (the fewest views a clip needs before it counts).

If one of these is missing, press Create ticket in the support-tickets channel on Discord. You should never have to guess what you are owed.

Rule 2: What you are doing

This rule tells you the format (what kind of video to make), the clip length and the aspect ratio (the shape of the video, like tall or wide). It also tells you if anyone can join, or if you must apply first.

Rule 3: Where footage comes from

Use only footage from the campaign's source folder (the folder of footage the campaign gives you). We reject footage that fans filmed. We reject footage that you screen-recorded. We reject footage that was uploaded again from somewhere else.

Rule 4: Review time

Each campaign says how long review takes, at the top of its rules. The clock starts when you attach your analytics. It does not start when you post. If your clip is still waiting after that time, press Create ticket in the support-tickets channel on Discord. We will tell you where your clip is.

Rule 5: Audience

This rule gives one number. It is stated once. It is measured on the post itself, not on your whole account. There is no second number anywhere. If you see a different number somewhere else, the number in this rule on the campaign page is the one that counts.

Rule 6: Brand safety

Brand safety means keeping the brand's name safe. Nothing in your clip should hurt it.

We do not approve clips before you post. You post first. We review after, using the written rules. That is the deal. You never wait on us to publish. In return, Rule 10 (Not allowed) is a hard rule. It is not just advice.

Not sure if something crosses a line? Ask before you post, not after. Ask in the clippers-chat channel on Discord.

Rule 7: Disclosure

The disclosure tag is a short label that the campaign tells you to use. It is named in this rule. Follow these four things:

Put the tag on its own line.

Make it the very first thing in your caption.

Use the same font, the same size and the same colour as the rest of your caption.

Also show the tag on screen in the video.

You may not swap it for another word. You may not shorten it. You may not hide it inside a block of hashtags (words that start with a hash sign).

Rule 8: Tags, caption, text and audio

For each platform, the campaign lists these things: The accounts you must tag (mention). The hashtags you must use, and how many extra ones you may add. The caption rules. The rules for text on the screen. The rules for audio (the sound and music). Which AI tools you may use.

Rule 9: Posting and engagement

Engagement means likes, comments and shares. Here is what this rule says:

Keep the post live for at least 30 days. If you delete it or make it private inside those 30 days, you lose the payout on it.

Your post needs an engagement rate of at least 0.20%. The engagement rate is how many people liked, commented or shared, compared with how many viewed. 0.20% means at least 2 likes, comments or shares for every 1,000 views.

Like counts must stay visible. If you hide the likes, the clip is rejected.

The campaign states how many times you may repost the same edit across your own pages. Stay inside that number.

No story boosting (using Stories to push your post's numbers up).

No paid promotion. That includes TikTok Promote and Instagram boost (the buttons those apps have for paying to get more views).

No collab posts (a post you share as a joint post with another account).

Rule 10: Not allowed

Do not buy views, likes, followers or comments. Do not use view bots (programs that fake views) or view exchanges (groups that swap views). Do not join engagement pods (groups that agree to like each other's posts). Do not drop your link in group chats to push the number up. Do not pay to boost a post. Do not boost it through stories. Do not forge, edit or borrow analytics. Borrow means using analytics from someone else's post. Do not send one video to more than one campaign. Do not repost another clipper's edit 1:1 (an exact copy). Do not use the same hook, caption and CTA across your own posts. The hook is the first line or moment that grabs attention. The CTA is the line that tells viewers what to do next. Do not write captions that do not match the clip. Do not make false claims about the client or the product. Do not post NSFW content (not safe for work) or hate speech.

Some campaigns add bans of their own. They sit in this rule too. They count just as much.

Rule 11: Takedown

A takedown is an order to remove a clip. If we post an urgent takedown, remove the clip within 12 hours. Your payout on it is kept. If you leave the clip up, you lose that payout.

Rule 12: How to submit

Post publicly.

Submit on Content Rewards within 30 minutes of posting.

Attach your analytics recording after the clip has reached the minimum payout and the audience part of the analytics has finished loading.

The How To Submit tab shows each step.

Rule 13: Who to ask

Press Create ticket in the support-tickets channel on Discord.

Never contact the client, the talent (the people who appear in the brand's videos), or anyone connected to them directly. If you do it once, you are removed from every current and future Scroll campaign.

Fraud, in short

We sell clients one thing: real people actually watched this. Every rule here protects that sentence.

Fraud means everything in Rule 10 (Not allowed). It also means deleting your post, or making it private, inside the 30 days. Forged analytics includes edited, borrowed and recycled recordings. Using an old recording for a new post counts too.

What happens next is a ladder with four levels:

Level 1: only the clip is rejected, and we name the rule. This is used when the cause was probably a mistake.

Level 2: the first time we confirm that you made your numbers bigger on purpose. You are removed from that campaign. You lose any earnings on it that were not paid yet. You wait 30 days before you join another campaign. Money already paid to you is not taken back.

Level 3: you do it again, or it happens across several posts or accounts. You are removed for good, and we report it to Content Rewards.

Level 4: forged analytics, and sending one video to more than one campaign. These skip the ladder, because both take deliberate effort.

You get one appeal for each decision. Press Create ticket in the support-tickets channel on Discord within 7 days. The reason we gave for a denial never changes. A level can come down if the evidence supports it.

Not sure if something crosses a line? Ask before you post.

Account setup and region

Some things are your own account setup. That means which phone you post from. It means which region your phone and app store account are set to. It means whether you use a proxy (a tool that makes your phone look like it is in another country). It means which country's SIM card is in the phone. These are not fraud, and we do not treat them as fraud.

We publish a guide for setting up accounts in other countries. It is in the region-setup channel on Discord. It has a part about the risks. Being tied to one country's audience is the biggest limit on what a clipper can earn if they live outside the US, UK, Canada and Australia. Read the guide before you set anything up. The account is yours, and so is the risk.

One thing is not up for debate. The analytics you send must be the real, unedited analytics of the real post, from the account that posted it. We pay on what the platforms report, whether the number is high or low. No setup, explanation or screenshot changes that number

What this is

Scroll Marketing is a clipping community. A clipping community is a group where people cut short clips out of longer videos and post them.

Brands give us their footage (the raw videos). We put it in front of you. You cut a short clip and post it on your own page. You get paid for the views your post earns.

Each brand job is called a campaign. Every campaign has its own rules and its own pay. Campaigns live in the Content Rewards tab on Whop. In that tab you join a campaign, read its rules, send your clip and see what you earned. Everything else here helps you do that well.

The five steps

Read the rules. Open a campaign in the Content Rewards tab. Scroll down to the box called Content requirements. Read every line. The rules are numbered Rule 1 to Rule 13. Those lines are the only rules your clip can be judged on.

Make the clip. Use only footage from the source folder (the folder of footage the campaign gives you). The campaign links to it in Rule 3 (Where footage comes from), in the Content requirements box. Footage from anywhere else is not accepted.

Post it publicly. Use one of the platforms the campaign names. Publicly means anyone can see it.

Submit it on Content Rewards within 30 minutes of posting. Content Rewards sets that time limit. It is not a Scroll choice.

Send your analytics (the numbers the app shows about your post). Wait until two things are true. First, your clip has reached the campaign's minimum payout (the smallest amount a clip must earn before it counts). Second, the audience part of the analytics has finished loading. The How To Submit tab shows you how to record it.

How the money works

You are paid for the verified views of an approved post (views we have checked are real). The rate is in Rule 1 (Pay) of that campaign. Nothing is paid before review.

When your clip is approved, the money goes to your Whop balance (the money in your Whop account). You take it out from there.

Content Rewards pays by CPM (a set amount for every 1,000 views). It holds that money for three days after the seven day earning window closes. Then it releases it. So there is a wait that we do not control.

Views are checked again after you post. You are paid on the final number, not the highest number it reached. Platforms remove fake views later, so the number can go down.

Keep your post live for at least 30 days. If you take it down inside those 30 days, you lose the payout on it.

Review time: each campaign says how long review takes, at the top of its rules.
