You don't have to switch Shopify off to try Whop.

Both can run at once, on the same domain.

DNS resolves per hostname, so yourbrand.com keeps pointing at Shopify while shop.yourbrand.com points at the Whop version.

Your store keeps selling the whole time.

Your email never moves, because MX, SPF and DKIM live in a zone you never touch.

You add one CNAME record.

Now you can send the same paid traffic at both checkouts and compare real numbers on real money.

If Whop wins, move more across.

If it doesn't, delete one DNS record and nothing ever happened.

One more reason to run the test: Whop Ads is a Meta agency account, and campaigns can be funded out of pending revenue instead of floating spend for days while you wait on a payout.

Two honest limits.

Your root domain can only point to one place, so the parallel version always lives on a subdomain, which is fine for paid traffic and less so if your organic traffic lands on the root.

And Meta is the only network live on Whop Ads today, with TikTok and Google listed as coming.

I built the migration path from Shopify to Whop nobody's talking about

Every Shopify store owner running Meta ads is dealing with the same three problems: fees eating margin, cash flow lag, and chargebacks with zero support.

Here is what actually changes when you move checkout onto Whop:

Fees: no $39 a month, no 2% penalty for using your own gateway, and subscriptions are native instead of a $99 app. Processing is 2.7% plus 30 cents. Every fee, including the ones nobody mentions, is laid out in the course.

Cash flow: Whop pays out fast, in 140+ countries. That matters when ad spend and inventory bills hit before your payout does.

Ad accounts: Whop Ads runs on a Meta agency account, and campaigns can be funded out of pending revenue instead of floating spend while you wait on a payout.

The hard part was never convincing people. It was the actual migration: shipping, fulfillment, inventory, site design, hosting. So I built Ecom OS, an app that plugs all of that straight into the Whop dashboard. Free while it is in testing.

If you run a Shopify store and any of this sounds familiar, the free course in the Learn tab walks through the whole comparison and how to move over without switching Shopify off.
