Through the Skybuilder cohort, students will embark on a transformative educational journey where they will design and build a Skyport, gain firsthand exposure to the cutting-edge world of Advanced Air Mobility and its potential to create real economic opportunity in their own community.

Alongside this, students will work toward obtaining their FAA Recreational Pilot Trust Certificate, establishing a credible foundation in aviation safety and regulations.

They will also assemble and fly drones, laying the groundwork for a future drone club that will continue to inspire and engage young aerospace leaders for years to come.

This funding ensures that Bronx youth have access to the tools, training, and hands-on experiences they need to become the engineers, pilots, and innovators of tomorrow.
