The 3-post framework that grew my client's Instagram from 200 to 5,000 followers in 60 days

Most small business owners post randomly and wonder why nothing works. Here's the framework I use with every client.

Post Type 1: The Hook Post (40% of content)

Share a bold opinion or counterintuitive take about your industry. Example: "Stop posting motivational quotes. Your customers don't care about your mindset — they care about their problem."

These posts get saved and shared because they challenge the norm.

Post Type 2: The Proof Post (30% of content)

Show results. Before/after. Client wins. Behind-the-scenes of your process. Screenshots of DMs from happy customers. This builds trust faster than any ad.

Post Type 3: The Teach Post (30% of content)

Give away your best stuff for free. A 60-second tutorial. A step-by-step breakdown. A template they can steal. When you teach, you become the authority.

The secret? Consistency > creativity. Post 5x per week using this mix and watch what happens in 60 days.

I coach small business owners on exactly how to implement this (and a lot more). If you want the full playbook, check out the Social Media Growth Accelerator.

What actually happens when you hire a social media manager (behind the scenes)

Most people think hiring an SMM means someone just posts for you. That's maybe 20% of the job. Here's what the other 80% looks like.

Week 1: The Deep Dive

Before we touch your account, we audit everything. Your current content performance, your competitors, your audience demographics, your offer positioning. We're not just looking at what to post — we're figuring out what your audience actually wants to hear.

The Content System

We build a 30-day content calendar around your pillars. Every post has:

  • A hook (the first line that stops the scroll)

  • A value body (the reason they keep reading)

  • A CTA (what they should do next)

Nothing is random. Every post serves a purpose in the funnel — awareness, trust-building, or conversion.

The Engagement Engine

Posting is just the start. We manage your comments, respond to DMs, engage with strategic accounts in your niche, and monitor trending topics in your industry. This is what most DIY creators skip, and it's exactly why their posts get 12 likes.

Monthly Reporting

You get a full performance breakdown every month. Reach, engagement rate, follower growth, profile visits, link clicks, and most importantly — how many leads came from social. If the numbers aren't moving, we pivot the strategy. No ego, just data.

The bottom line:

A good SMM doesn't just save you time. They make you money. If your social media isn't generating leads, it's a hobby — not a marketing channel.

That's the standard we hold ourselves to at Fynestia Media Authority.

How I'd grow any coach's Instagram from 0 to 10K in 90 days

Here's the exact playbook I'd run if I were starting a coach's Instagram from scratch today. No paid ads. No gimmicks.

Weeks 1-2: Foundation

Pick your 4 content pillars. For a business coach, mine would be:

  • Client wins / case studies

  • Quick tactical tips (60-sec Reels)

  • Industry hot takes

  • Behind-the-scenes of your process

Set up your bio with a clear value prop. Not "Helping people live their best life" — something like "I help online coaches book 10+ calls/week without cold DMs."

Weeks 3-6: Volume Phase

Post 2x per day. One Reel, one carousel or static post. Yes, 2x per day. The algorithm needs data to figure out who to show your content to. You're training it.

Spend 30 minutes before and after each post engaging with accounts in your niche. Leave thoughtful comments, not "Great post! 🔥" — actually say something useful.

Weeks 7-12: Optimization

By now you have 8+ weeks of data. Look at your top 5 performing posts. What do they have in common? Double down on that format, that hook style, that topic.

Start repurposing your best Reels into carousels, and your best carousels into Reels. One idea = 3 pieces of content.

The part nobody talks about:

DMs. When someone comments something meaningful on your post, DM them. Not a pitch — a genuine conversation. "Hey, saw your comment about X — are you currently doing Y?" This is where clients come from. Not from going viral.

Consistency beats creativity every time at this stage.

The 3 things killing your social media growth as a coach or creator

I've managed social media for dozens of coaches and personal brands. The same 3 mistakes show up every single time.

1. Posting without a content pillar strategy

Most creators post whatever feels right that day. The result? A scattered feed that confuses the algorithm and your audience. You need 3-4 content pillars — recurring themes that your content rotates through. For a fitness coach, that might be: transformations, quick tips, myth-busting, and behind-the-scenes.

2. Ignoring the first 30 minutes after posting

The engagement you get in the first 30 minutes determines how far your post reaches. If you post and disappear, you're leaving 60-70% of your reach on the table. Reply to every comment. Engage with other accounts in your niche. The algorithm rewards active creators.

3. No clear CTA in your bio or content

If someone discovers you through a Reel or carousel and likes what they see — what are they supposed to do next? "Link in bio" isn't enough. Your bio needs a crystal-clear value proposition and a single link to your main offer.

Fix these three things and watch what happens in 30 days.
