5 things I stopped doing that completely changed my dating life
I used to wonder why I kept attracting the wrong men. Turns out, I was the common denominator. Not because I was the problem — but because I was tolerating things that were beneath me.
Here are 5 things I stopped doing:
1. Texting first every single time
If he's interested, he'll reach out. Period. I stopped chasing and started noticing who was actually pursuing me.
2. Ignoring red flags because he was "fine"
Attractive ≠ good for you. I started paying attention to how men made me feel, not just how they looked.
3. Being available 24/7
I got busy with my own life — gym, friends, goals. Suddenly the right ones started showing up because I wasn't desperate for attention.
4. Explaining my standards
The right man won't need a PowerPoint on why you deserve respect. I stopped negotiating my non-negotiables.
5. Staying in "almost" relationships
If it's not a clear yes, it's a no. I freed up space for someone who actually wanted to be with me.
The shift happened when I realized: you attract what you tolerate.
