How I price digital game keys without racing to the bottom

Been building a game key marketplace (PlayOra) and the #1 mistake I see new sellers make: pricing every key as low as possible to "compete."

Here's the framework I use instead:

1. Bundle over single sales. A single key is a commodity — buyers price-compare instantly. A mystery bundle (e.g. 5 random AAA keys) isn't comparable to anything, so you set the price.

2. Price the bundle below the cheapest individual key's "guilt threshold." People will impulse-buy at $15–25 without thinking twice. Above $30, they start comparison shopping.

3. Instant delivery is the actual product. Buyers aren't paying for the key — Steam already values that. They're paying to skip waiting, skip scams, and skip sketchy resellers. Say that explicitly in your listing.

4. Community > support tickets. A chat where buyers can flex their pulls turns a one-time purchase into repeat traffic. It's free retention.

If you're building something similar, happy to compare notes.
