The 3-Step Method That Makes Any Physics Problem Solvable

Most students stare at physics problems and freeze. Here's the framework I use to break down literally any problem:

Step 1: Draw it out. Sketch the situation. Label every force, velocity, or variable you're given. This alone solves 30% of problems because you finally see what's happening.

Step 2: Pick your equation. Don't memorize 50 formulas. Learn the 5-6 core ones (F=ma, v=u+at, KE=½mv², etc.) and recognize which one matches the variables you have vs. the one you need.

Step 3: Solve for the unknown, then sanity-check. Plug in, solve algebraically, and ask: "Does this answer make physical sense?" A car going 50,000 m/s? Probably not.

This works for kinematics, forces, energy, momentum — almost everything in high school physics.

Inside SolveLab, I break down dozens of problems using this exact method with full walkthroughs for Physics, Chemistry, and Math. If you're tired of not understanding why the answer is what it is, this is for you.
