TOP HAT DAILY BREAK - 15m + 1HR Opening Range Breakout

Marks the opening range and signals breakouts and retests, with built-in SL/TP and a live backtest table.

RANGES

• 15m ORB (green box): 9:30-9:45 AM NY. Prints 15m BUY / 15m SELL on a close outside the range.
• 1HR ORB (purple box): 9:30-10:30 AM NY. The main trading range.

1HR SIGNALS (after 10:30 AM)

• 1HR BUY / SELL: a full-body candle closes outside the 1HR range.
• 1HR BUY / SELL (retest): after a breakout, price closes back inside the range.

RISK
Every trade has an SL, TP1 and TP2. When TP1 hits, the stop moves to break even. Open trades close at end of day.

BACKTEST TABLE
Shows trades, win rate, TP/SL hits, net points and profit factor for breakouts, retests and total. Updates instantly when you change settings.

DIAL IT IN PER TICKER
Every ticker moves differently. Use a 5m chart with regular hours, then adjust SL, TP1 and TP2 in settings until the table shows a win rate and net points you like. Watch net points and profit factor, not just win rate. Smaller targets win more but can make less.
Example: TSLA worked best at SL 3 / TP1 2 / TP2 6, while SPY did better with TP2 at 5.
If retests lose on a ticker, try “Flip retest direction.”
