The 3 things killing your productivity (that feel like work)
Most entrepreneurs are busy all day and have nothing to show for it by Friday. I used to be the same way.
After working with dozens of founders, I noticed the same 3 patterns destroying their output:
1. "Strategic" meetings that are actually status updates
If nothing changes after the meeting, it wasn't strategic. It was a group email that wasted an hour. Cut 80% of your recurring meetings. You'll survive.
2. Treating your inbox as your to-do list
Every time you open email, you're letting other people set your priorities. The most productive founders I know check email twice a day — at 11am and 4pm. Everything else can wait.
3. Saying "I'll do it myself, it's faster"
It IS faster today. But you'll still be doing it 6 months from now while your competitor hired someone and moved on. Delegate ugly. It doesn't have to be perfect the first time.
The fix isn't a new app or a morning routine. It's about identifying which activities actually move revenue and ruthlessly cutting everything else.
I broke this down into a full framework in my productivity presentation — practical stuff you can implement the same day, not theory.
