Most players burn hundreds of resin on artifact domains before they even have the right main stats figured out. Here's the thing — you don't need perfect substats to clear Spiral Abyss.

The real priority order:

1. Correct main stats — This alone is 80% of your damage. ATK% sands, Elemental DMG goblet, Crit circlet. Always.

2. Set bonuses — A mediocre 4pc Emblem beats a cracked 2pc mix 90% of the time for most sub-DPS units.

3. Talent levels — People sleep on this. Going from talent 8 to 10 is often a bigger DPS jump than upgrading artifacts.

4. Substats — Only optimize these AFTER everything above is done. Crit rate > crit damage > ER/ATK% depending on the character.

The players who 36-star Abyss consistently aren't the ones with 60/200 crit ratios on everyone — they're the ones who invest resin efficiently and understand team rotations.

Stop farming for that perfect flower. Level your talents, lock in your team comp, and come back when everything else is maxed.
