Why most people fail at 'AI digital products' (and the 3-part structure that actually converts)

I spent the last few months testing AI digital products on X, and here's the uncomfortable truth: 90% of people fail not because the niche is saturated, but because they sell the wrong shape of product.

Here's what actually works — a 3-part structure:

1. The Hook Product ($0-$20)

Something tiny that solves ONE annoying problem instantly. A prompt pack, a template, a mini-checklist. Its only job is to get someone to trust you enough to buy again.

2. The Core Product ($100-$500)

This is where the real value (and the real income) lives. It has to teach a repeatable SYSTEM, not just "here's what I did." Beginners don't need inspiration, they need a sequence they can't mess up.

3. The Feedback Loop

A place (chat, comments, DMs) where buyers show you their output. This is what turns one-time buyers into repeat buyers and referrers — and it's the single most skipped step by first-time sellers.

Most people build #2 and skip #1 and #3 entirely, then wonder why nobody buys from a cold X account with no trust signals.

If you're starting from zero: build the hook first. Get 10 people to say yes to something cheap before you ever try to sell something expensive. Trust compounds faster than most people think, especially on X where receipts (screenshots, results, proof) travel fast.

Happy to answer questions if anyone's stuck on where their product idea fits into this structure.
