Why most people overspend when they shop alone

As a Certified Fashion Image Consultant, the #1 mistake I see: people shop without a plan and end up buying things that don't fit their actual life. A few things I tell every client before they spend a dollar:

  1. Know your 'cost-per-wear' math. A $200 jacket you wear 100 times beats a $40 jacket you wear twice. Price alone is a bad filter.

  2. Shop your gaps, not trends. Look at what you reach for every week and are missing — that's where money should go first.

  3. Have a second pair of eyes. It's almost impossible to be objective about your own style. A stylist (or even a brutally honest friend) catches what you can't see in the mirror.

I built a curated marketplace spanning every price point specifically because 'good taste' shouldn't require a huge budget — it requires the right eye matching the right item to the right person. That's the whole job.
