The problem with most worldbuilding content
Most worldbuilding content online is either:
Listicles written by people who've never actually built a world from scratch
Generic medieval-Europe templates copy-pasted across a thousand settings
"1000 fantasy name ideas!!!" PDFs
None of it has atmosphere. None of it has teeth.
That's why I started Shadow & Salt. Every piece we release is a complete fragment — not a template, not a worksheet. A faction with political motivations and internal betrayals. A god with contradictions baked into its theology. A ritual that costs something real.
We produce manga, lore bibles, atmospheric art, hand-drawn maps, and serialized dark fiction. Each release is designed to either be dropped straight into your campaign or project, or to spark something entirely your own.
If you're building a TTRPG campaign, writing dark fiction, designing an indie game, or you just love collecting strange mythologies — The Archive drops new fragments monthly.
This isn't content. It's world fuel.
