The 3 habits that build wealth AND health at the same time
Most people treat money and fitness as separate goals. They grind at the gym for 2 hours, then blow $40 on Uber Eats. Or they optimize their budget down to the penny but sit at a desk 14 hours a day.
Here's what I've learned: the same principles that build a great physique build wealth. And you can stack them.
1. Progressive overload applies to both.
In the gym, you add weight to the bar every week. With money, you increase your savings rate or income by even 1% per month. Small, consistent increases compound into something insane over 2-3 years.
2. Meal prep = financial autopilot.
When you meal prep on Sunday, you save $200+/month on food AND hit your macros. Set up auto-investments the same day. Two systems, one hour, both goals handled.
3. Recovery is where the growth happens.
Muscles grow when you sleep, not when you lift. Compound interest works when you don't touch it. The biggest mistake in both domains is being impatient and interrupting the process.
The people who win at both aren't superhuman — they just stopped treating these as separate games.
I write about this every week inside The Compound Effect. One money move. One fitness play. Zero fluff.
