Why most trading newsletters fail their readers (and what I do differently)
Most trading newsletters do one of two things wrong:
1. They're too late. By the time a trade idea hits your inbox, the edge is already priced in. A "buy signal" on a stock that already moved 12% isn't analysis — it's a recap.
2. They're too vague. "Watch this level" with no context on why it matters is noise dressed up as insight.
Here's how I think about it differently in The Compound Letter:
Every issue answers three questions:
What happened this week and why it actually matters (not a rehash of what you already saw on Twitter)
What the macro environment is setting up for (sector rotations, risk-on/off reads, catalyst calendars)
What specific setups I'm watching — with levels, context, and the thesis
I'm not trying to call every move. I'm trying to give you a cleaner lens.
If you're a trader who's tired of getting noise or getting late info, come check it out.
