Why I stopped listening to Wall Street (and started making real money)

Two years ago I was doing everything "right" — buying the S&P, holding blue chips, following analyst price targets.

My returns? Mid. Like 8% mid.

Then I started looking at what the big money was actually doing — not what they were saying on TV:

1. They're accumulating commodities quietly. While retail chases tech earnings, institutions are loading up on uranium, lithium, and agricultural plays. These cycles last years.

2. Real estate isn't dead, you're just looking at the wrong markets. Forget SF and NYC. Secondary markets with population inflows are printing. The data is all public if you know where to look.

3. Crypto isn't speculation if you understand the thesis. Most people buy the hype. The real edge is buying the infrastructure — layer 2s, DePIN, and the protocols that survive bear markets.

4. Contrarian ≠ reckless. Going against consensus isn't about being different for the sake of it. It's about finding where the crowd is wrong and the data says otherwise.

I started writing these theses down. Now I share them every week with a community of investors who think the same way.

If you're tired of the same recycled advice and want plays that actually move the needle — The Contrarian is open.
