The 2-Minute Rule That Changed How I Study

Most students overthink productivity. They buy planners, download 5 apps, watch "study with me" videos for 3 hours — then wonder why nothing sticks.

Here's what actually works: the 2-minute rule.

If something takes less than 2 minutes, do it now. Reply to that email. Review that one flashcard. Write the first sentence of that essay.

Why it works: your brain resists starting, not doing. Once you're 2 minutes in, momentum takes over. I went from procrastinating entire weekends to consistently studying 4+ hours a day — all because I stopped waiting to "feel motivated" and started making the first 2 minutes non-negotiable.

The edge isn't in knowing more. It's in doing more with less friction.
