The 5-minute morning routine that changed everything
Most morning routines are overcomplicated. 2 hours of meditation, journaling, cold plunges, gratitude lists...
Here's the thing — if your routine takes 2 hours, you won't do it when life gets busy. And that's exactly when you need it most.
I spent years testing different approaches. What actually stuck was something embarrassingly simple:
1. Wake up → no phone for 10 minutes. That's it at first. Just sit with your thoughts.
2. Write down ONE thing you're going to make happen today. Not 5 things. One.
3. Move your body for 5 minutes. Pushups, stretching, a walk around the block. Doesn't matter.
Total time: under 10 minutes. Consistency rate for me: 95%+ over the last year.
The magic isn't in any single step — it's that you actually do it every day. A mediocre routine done daily beats a perfect routine done twice a month.
I share stuff like this daily inside The Daily Glow. If you're a young professional trying to build real habits (not just consume content about habits), come through.
