Stop Worrying About Tomorrow

Verse of the Day

"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." — Matthew 6:34

The Message

It's easy to spend today's energy carrying tomorrow's problems. Worry doesn't add a single hour to your life — it just steals peace from the one you're living right now. God isn't asking you to have every answer for the future. He's asking you to trust Him with it, one day at a time. When you hand tomorrow over to Him, today gets lighter.

The Challenge

Write down one thing you're worried about right now. Then, out loud, tell God you're handing it to Him — and choose not to pick it back up today.

Prayer

Lord, I confess I carry things that aren't mine to carry. Teach me to trust You with tomorrow so I can be fully present today. Give me peace that doesn't depend on having it all figured out. Amen.

Recommendation

"The Practice of the Presence of God" by Brother Lawrence — a short, simple read on staying anchored in God moment by moment.
