The 10 DJs You Need to See Live Before You Die
There's a massive difference between hearing a DJ on Spotify and experiencing them live. Here's my non-negotiable list of artists that completely transform in a live setting:
1. Charlotte de Witte — Her techno sets at festivals like Tomorrowland are physically overwhelming. The bass pressure alone is worth the trip.
2. David Guetta — Say what you want, the man knows how to work 100,000 people. Pure spectacle.
3. Anyma — The visual production is unlike anything else in electronic music right now. It's not a DJ set — it's an experience.
4. Fisher — If you've never been in a crowd losing their minds to "Losing It" at 2am, you haven't lived.
5. Peggy Gou — The vibes are immaculate. Her track selection is always surprising.
6. Martin Garrix — The energy he brings to a mainstage is unmatched. Been doing it since he was 17.
7. Vintage Culture — Brazilian house music royalty. His Ibiza residency sets are legendary.
8. Reinier Zonneveld — Live hardware techno. No laptop. Just raw, sweaty, analog sound.
9. Alok — Combines Brazilian rhythms with festival house in a way nobody else does.
10. Armin van Buuren — ASOT sets are 5+ hour journeys. The trance community is built different.
We track all of these artists and 200+ more on The DJ Calendar. Tour dates, presale codes, festival lineups — all in one place.
