The 3 skincare ingredients that changed my skin (and why most products get them wrong)
I spent 3 years testing over 200 skincare products. Here's what actually works.
1. Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) — Most brands underdose this at 2%. You need 5-10% concentration to see real results: smaller pores, brighter tone, reduced redness. But go above 10% and you're irritating your skin for no reason.
2. Hyaluronic Acid — Everyone talks about it, almost nobody uses it right. HA pulls moisture FROM your skin if you apply it dry. Always layer it on damp skin, then seal with a moisturizer. Multi-molecular weight formulas penetrate deeper than single-weight.
3. Retinol — The gold standard for anti-aging, but timing matters. Start with 0.25% and work up. Never mix with Vitamin C in the same routine. And always — ALWAYS — use SPF the next morning.
The problem with most luxury skincare? You're paying for packaging, not formulation. We built The Glow Box to fix that — every product is vetted for clean ingredients at effective concentrations.
No fillers. No hype. Just results.
