5 things homeowners forget that cost them hundreds

I've been doing odd jobs for a while now, and I keep seeing the same things over and over. Here are 5 things most homeowners forget until it's too late:

1. Gutter cleaning. Clogged gutters cause water damage to your foundation. A 30-minute clean twice a year saves you thousands.

2. Fence maintenance. A coat of sealant every 2 years doubles the life of a wood fence. Skip it and you're replacing the whole thing.

3. Weeding before it spreads. That small patch of weeds in the garden bed? In 3 weeks it'll take over. Pull them early.

4. Touching up exterior paint. Small chips and peeling turn into wood rot fast. A quick touch-up now beats a full repaint later.

5. Trimming branches near the house. Overhanging branches scrape your roof and gutters. One bad storm and you've got a hole.

Most of these are quick fixes — the kind of stuff I handle every day. If you need a hand with any of it, that's literally what I do.

Now it may be confusing but anything you need help with I will got you
