I Sold My Amazon Store for $85,000. I Never Spent a Dollar on Ads.

Read the seller forums and you'll see the opposite story every day: sales up, profit gone, because the ads ate the margin. One seller sold just under £3k in a month and spent about £2,200 on ads.

One late shipment can end an account. One lost parcel, one claim, and a small seller can see a 5% defect rate and an "at risk" warning.

My first order was refunded because it shipped late. My supplier was CJ dropshipping. I could have blamed them. I built my own fulfillment method instead.

Here is what I did over four years, and how we build the same way for clients:

ZERO AD SPEND. Four years, no PPC budget. Traffic came from being findable, not from buying clicks.
LOCAL SEO FOR SINGAPORE. Titles and bullets written the way Singaporeans actually search, not copy-pasted from a US listing.
TWO DOORS. A Shopify store carrying the same products, connected to Amazon, so customers could arrive from two places.
MY OWN FULFILLMENT. When dropshipped orders came late and careless, I replaced the method, not the excuse.
CUSTOMER FIRST. When a claim came in, I sent a new item with a gift and told Amazon I didn't want the refund. The customer's happiness mattered more. Amazon refunded me anyway.
BUY BOX DISCIPLINE. I researched the best Buy Box price for every product and kept my Buy Box share above 70%.
A CLEAN ACCOUNT. Account Health: Healthy. 0% order defect rate.
THE EXIT. Sold through Acquire.com, closed through Escrow.com on March 9, 2026: $85,000 ($78,180 after broker and escrow fees).

The year after that first refunded order, the store did $40,561 in ordered product sales after seller support refund process because Amazon manually made Top1 my store. This is biggest action because to be Trust, so important for Amazon and algorithm

My result. It is not typical, and no outcome is guaranteed. However, the stores I have just created are selling over $25000 as of the first 6 months, but I never share these sales in accordance with my contract and in order not to steal the information of my customers and the same product is sold on the same list and their prices do not decrease and always own a BUYBOX. My goal is never advertising. My goal is to systematically explain what I do, apply it, and follow this path for you.

Too many Amazon brands are built backwards. Factory first, math later. Then the returns, fees and reviews tell the truth months too late.

We work the other way round. A product has to pass our math before it earns a factory.

THE 3X NET MARGIN STANDARD

Every product we choose must clear one rule on paper, before anything is ordered:

Net profit per unit, after unit cost, Amazon commission and shipping fees, must be at least 3x the unit cost.

Example: a product that costs $15 to make lists at $89+. At $89 it has to clear $45 in net profit (3 x $15). That leaves $29 for Amazon commission and shipping fees combined ($89 - $15 - $45). If the fees run higher, the product is out.

It is a unit-economics rule, not a sales promise. We guarantee the screen. Sales depend on the market, and nobody can honestly promise them.
