Is luck a skill?

I've been ruminating on this question for a long time now. And although I haven't found a definite answer, I believe I've found some key points that direct me to a conclusive conclusion.

Luck is not something that we can influence directly, but rather something that we accept in our environment, events, and situations... Let me explain further with an example:

A man lost his dog in the village and passed all day looking for it... The neighbors, troubled, said, "Ohh, what bad luck that your dog is lost!" The man just replied, "Maybe."

The next day the dog returned home and arrived with 3 horses... The neighbors thought, "Ohh, how lucky of you to get 3 horses and your dog back." The man just replied, "Maybe."

And the next day his son, trying to mount one of the horses, broke a leg... The neighbors concerned were saying, "What a bad luck that your son now has a broken leg because of the horses" The man once again just said "Maybe."

Now, the next day the army went to the village to recruit every young man to go to the war. The only one that stayed was the son of the man due to the broken leg. The neighbors, knowing this, expressed, "Good luck to you that your son wasn't drafted into the army." The man, once more, just replied, "Maybe."

Did you catch the message of the story? Things will always happen to us, and we can take them as bad, as good, or as something not bad nor good, but depending on the circumstances in our lives, we can perceive something as either good or bad.

In our limited perception and ignorance of everything happening around us and in the world, we really don't know how a "lucky streak" could actually be a "misfortune" and how a "misfortune" could actually be a blessing in disguise.

Based on this way of seeing things, luck is the ability to respond without expectations towards any kind of event.

I always have found myself interested in how to increase my own vibration to attract everything I ever wanted.
I believe a lot of people have this same interest and can understand at least the basics on how to raise their vibration.

+ Night sleep of at least 8 hours.
+ Eat in a healthy way.
+ Go to the gym 2-3 times a week.
+ Read books, learn new things.
+ Write in your journal everyday.
+ Meditate and reflect on things.
+ Take cold showers.

There's nothing wrong about believing and doing these things; however, is it true that by performing these kinds of things we would raise our vibration to become successful?

I mean, how many people do we know that have the kind of success and wealth without ever doing any of these things?

What I've found out is that we might be doing it wrong. We already are broadcasting a signal with our own frequency in spite of what we do in our body. We need to decide first to broadcast the right frequency and signal within ourselves, and then we will experience success, health, and wealth effortlessly.

Truthfully I cannot say I have all the answers, or I can't say which way is the way regarding this, as I myself just started to study and understand this concept being backwards...

After deciding to have the right frequency, then we can choose what we want to do with our time and our body...

If this sounds interesting to you too, then stay tuned!

Yes, life is unjust; we can see challenges as unsurmountable obstacles, or we can see them as the fun part of our life's story once we overcome them.

We most of the time prefer to see things as harder and more difficult than they really are, and we also most of the time are not even aware that we are doing it.

We need a friend that points out that problem to us, a strong wake-up call like hitting rock bottom or getting to the point of losing all hope in us, not seeing how we can strive and rise up again... For us to either break and lose or make ourselves victorious over any circumstance.

The victim paper in us is what keeps us stuck once we understand that life is unjust. Get rid of your victim mindset and seek a higher purpose to find the strength you need to rise once again!

Impostor Syndrome is nothing more than a response from our subconscious mind to keep us "safe."

It's a way to stay in our comfort zone and not embrace the change we need in life, because change is unknown and uncertain; what we don't know is scary, and what is scary is dangerous.

We need to teach ourselves that there's no danger, or at least not the kind of terrifying danger we tend to believe there is outside of our comfort zone.

What is it that you want in your life?

I think most people have a clear-vague sense of what they want in their lives.
Having more money, good relationships, a healthy body, and more freedom to do what they want are just some of the most common responses you will get from your friends, peers, and almost anybody you ask randomly on the street.

The thing that I'm seeing is the lack of specificity these answers have. And then we don't see the flaw in why we are not achieving our deepest desires and goals.

If having more money is your goal and you find one dollar bill on the street, then mission accomplished!
And your subconscious moves to the next goal. But consciously you are still asking for more money.

Now, if a healthy body is one of your goals, then you cannot resist certain foods or drinks knowingly, even though they are bad for your body, but if you are not taking action to deal with those cravings, then your goal is questionable at best.

Can you see the pattern here?

The point is to be specific enough in what you want because you will start to see the roadmap to know how to actually make the first step in the direction of that goal.

7 Money Lessons from a 29 Year-Old Self-made Millionaire

1- Save on percentages, not on quantities, and do it before spending anything else. Pay yourself first.

2- Your relationship with money is much more valuable than any strategy; it doesn't matter how good the strategy is and how perfectly it's implemented; if you have a bad relationship with money, it will keep avoiding you in the long run.

3- The best ROI is always people, more than any stock; Who you hire, who you associate with, and your friends are assets that will compound more than any stock in the market ever will.

4- Focus on increasing how much you earn, not how many expenses you can cut. There is a ceiling on how much you can cut, but there's no ceiling on how much you can earn!

5- Health, Moral Values, and Integrity are not negotiable. If you build a portfolio by losing or eroding your identity as an honest human being, your portfolio is worthless to you, your family, your health, and your peace of mind.

6- Stay the poorest man in the room. Don't show off and always seek to be accompanied by people who can lift you up in business, character, and life.

7- The point of money is to expand its impact. Build your wealth to add value to the people in your life, your community, your country, and the world. We all can add value in different ways; being wealthy gives new possibilities and opportunities to add more value.

What kind of relationship with money do you have?

You probably have already asked yourself things like, How can I make more money today? What stocks/cryptos or investment options can I use to build my portfolio? In what niche should I be focusing on with my business?

Those are very important questions, no doubt!

However, no matter how good your strategy is and how perfectly you apply it, if you have a bad relationship with the money you have, the money you earn will keep slipping away from your fingers.

The relationship has to be fixed first because a limited and fearful view of money will keep pushing it away without you even realizing it.

What I believe to be the best antidote to cure this dis-ease is to build a healthy identity around money.

Why is it that when we are winning big in life and everything is getting on track, we get back to square one once more?

We can call it in many different things, like self-sabotage, destiny, the world is against us, etc. But I think there is something deeper behind it, and it has to do with our own beliefs, and to be more specific, with our identity.

So impostor syndrome? Yeap, most likely.

Before achieving an objective, reaching any goal or having any stroke of luck, we should be prepared to receive the blessing by believing we deserve it. And this can be done by building our identity first so we internally believe that we deserve to win in life.

After you build your identity and constantly take action everyday according to it, it's just a matter of time to become successful in anything you set your mind to.

Why is it that we procrastinate? How do we beat it once and for all?

The biggest reason it is so difficult to stop procrastinating is that we have so many distractions within our reach.
We are dedicating our time to activities that are not priorities at inadequate times.

And we are prioritizing these things instead of what is important because we find that hard and meaningful task sooo boring. And that's exactly how we beat procrastination, by embracing that boredom.

It would be easy if we were not so addicted to the dopamine hits that the endless scrolling, playing games, texting, social media, or any other preferred activity provides.

I'm not talking about a complete dopamine detox in your system (although that helps too) but a way of reframing the hard tasks as the only option to do for our brains to get that dopamine by eliminating any other distraction for a time.

Here is an exercise you can start doing to eliminate
Sit in a quiet room right after waking up and stare into the wall for 10 mins straight.

That's it! If you can endure this exercise, you'll notice how much more productive you'll be through the day and how easy it will be for you to focus on the hard, boring, but meaningful tasks that need to be done.

Pattern Recognition: The Most Underrated Superpower!

Do you know what OODA stands for?
In the early 1970s John Boyd, a Colonel of the US Air Force, developed this decision-making model.

O = Observe
O = Orient
D = Decision
A = Action

It isn't a profound or complicated concept to understand, but it stands out by its practicality; it can be used in almost all areas of our lives to improve our decision-making process against any situation.

When we take Action, it can work as a test that provides new feedback based on the response we are getting and we need to Observe. It becomes a loop until we find the best decision and take the best action to overcome the challenge in front of us.

What people are missing out or haven't seen anybody else talk about is how with this loop, after getting enough feedback, we develop a keen eye to recognize patterns.

If you can detect and single out what patterns you have that are sabotaging your improvement and achieving your goals, then you wouldn't need to struggle to become successful in life; you only need to keep repeating the OODA loop until you start to get better results.

Now, the way to 10x the pattern recognition skill is by practicing this decision-making loop in the exp of other people and finding the correlation with your own life, exp, and situation.

It is by recognizing some patterns that we learn to make the decision to be prepared beforehand against a possible misfortune.
