Why I stopped buying storybooks from Amazon

My kid was 4 when I realized every bedtime story we owned had the same formula. Hero goes on adventure, learns a lesson, the end. Rinse and repeat across 30 books.

So I started writing my own. Short stories with weird little twists — a dragon who's afraid of the dark, a pirate ship crewed entirely by cats, a treehouse that grows a new room every night.

My daughter started requesting bedtime. That had never happened before.

I've been writing these for over a year now and the collection keeps growing. Every story is designed to spark that "wait, what happens next?" feeling — the kind that makes kids actually look forward to reading.

If you're a parent tired of the same recycled stories, Tale & Thread is the library I wish existed when I started. New stories every month, all original, all crafted to make bedtime the best part of the day.
