3 DFS mistakes that are bleeding your bankroll

Most DFS players lose money. Not because they're bad at sports — because they're making the same structural mistakes over and over.

Here are 3 things I see constantly:

1. Chasing ownership instead of leverage

Everyone plays the chalk. That's exactly why it doesn't hit at the rate you need it to in GPPs. The guys cashing big aren't just picking the "best" players — they're finding spots where the field is wrong.

2. Ignoring correlation

Stacking isn't optional. If you're playing random one-offs across your lineup, your ceiling is capped. You need correlated upside — QB/WR stacks, batting order stacks, game stacks. That's how you get the 200+ ceilings that win tournaments.

3. Not adjusting for late news

The slate at 10am is not the same slate at lock. Injuries, lineup changes, weather — all of it shifts optimal plays. If you set your lineup and walk away, you're leaving edge on the table.

I break down optimal plays and late-swap alerts daily inside The Lock Room. If you're serious about DFS, come through.
