The 5 Books That Changed How I Think About Making Money
Most people read business books and highlight a bunch of stuff they'll never act on. I was that person for years.
Then I started doing something different — I stopped reading for information and started reading for implementation. One action item per chapter, executed within 24 hours. No exceptions.
Here are the 5 books that rewired my brain:
1. $100M Leads by Alex Hormozi
The biggest lesson wasn't about lead gen tactics. It was understanding that every business problem is actually a lead problem in disguise. If you have unlimited leads, you can afford to be bad at everything else while you figure it out.
2. The 12 Week Year
This book destroyed my relationship with annual goals. 12 weeks is the only planning horizon that creates real urgency. I now operate in 12-week sprints and it's changed everything about how fast I move.
3. 48 Laws of Power
Not a "business book" — but understanding power dynamics is the #1 skill nobody teaches you. Law 28 alone (Enter Action with Boldness) is worth the entire read.
4. Atomic Habits
You don't rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems. I built my entire daily routine around this principle — cold calls, content, exercise, reading. Stack the habits, stack the results.
5. The Art of Selling
Sales isn't convincing people to buy things they don't need. Sales is understanding someone's problem better than they do and showing them the bridge to the other side.
I'm documenting my entire journey to $100K/month — the cold calls, the wins, the failures, everything. If you want to follow along and grab the frameworks I'm building from these books, check out The Growth Blueprint.
