A football match is not a coin flip. Here's the model beginners actually need.
Most "AI predictions" you see in Telegram are vibes with a confidence percentage glued on.
A real match model is boring. That's why it works.
The engine
Football scores roughly follow a Poisson distribution. You estimate how many goals each side should score (xG), then expand every scoreline from 0–0 to 7–7. Add them up and you get:
Home win %
Draw %
Away win %
The single most likely score
What actually moves xG
Attack rating of one side vs defence of the other
Home advantage (it's real, and it's large)
Recent form as a multiplier, not a story
How to read it without getting wrecked
If the favourite is under 55%, you do not have a lock. You have a lean. If the most likely score is 1–1 but the away win is 38%, the market and the model may disagree — that's the interesting part.
MatchPulse AI runs this automatically for the big five leagues plus Europe. You pick two clubs. It prints the board.
Entertainment, not betting advice. Use it to think before kickoff.
