The 3 content mistakes killing your personal brand (and what to post instead)
I've managed social media for dozens of personal brands and influencers. The same 3 mistakes come up every single time.
Mistake #1: Posting without a content pillar strategy
Random content = random results. Every post should tie back to 3-5 core themes that define your brand. If someone can't describe what you're about in one sentence after scrolling your page, you're losing followers.
Mistake #2: Ignoring the hook
You have 1.5 seconds. That's it. Your first line or first frame decides everything. Stop starting with "Hey guys" and start with something that makes people stop scrolling.
Mistake #3: Not repurposing
One piece of long-form content should become 5-10 short-form pieces minimum. If you're creating everything from scratch every time, you're burning out for no reason.
What to do instead:
Build a content matrix (pillar topics × content formats)
Write 10 hooks before you write the post
Record once, clip everywhere
