The +EV habit most bettors skip

Most losing months aren't because you "picked the wrong team." They're because you took a bad number.


Same side, two books: -110 vs -125. That's not a rounding error. That's the edge, gone.


Before you bet anything this week:


  1. Shop the line. If you only have one book, you are paying a tax.

  2. Write the close. If you can't beat the closing number over a sample, the "system" is noise.

  3. Cap the card. 1–2 units a play. No revenge bets after a bad beat.


Parlays feel like a plan. They're a juice bill with extra steps.
