@kaycue·2dFIELD40: 40% off until 30 Oct
The launch code FIELD40 gives you 40% off ($11.99 instead of $19.99), limited to 10 people and ending 30 October.
Read the free chapter first. If it's not useful, the rest won't be either, and that's fine.
Educational only. Not financial advice.
@kaycue·4dMine used to be "moving the stop because it's nearly there."
Reply with yours. I'll answer each one with the chapter that deals with it.
@kaycue·4dEU regulator ESMA requires CFD providers to show how many retail accounts lose money, and the required warnings typically show 74–89%.
That's not a reason to panic. It's a reason to practise with zero money at risk first, which is exactly what the 30-day plan in the guide does.
@kaycue·4dBefore you take a trade, one question matters more than "will it go up?": how much do I lose if I'm wrong?
Risk Desk is a free calculator that answers it. Enter your balance, your risk % and your stop, and it gives you the position size, rounded down, with the working shown. It also has a risk table, a break-even win-rate checker and a losing-streak reality check.
No signals. No predictions. Just arithmetic. Get it in the sidebar → 🆓 Free.
Want the reasons behind the formulas? They come from Chapters 7 and 8 of The Trading Field Guide, and FIELD40 still gives 40% off.
@kaycue·Oct 7Plan: risk $10 on a trade. Stop is 50 cents away → size = 20 shares.
Same $10 risk, stop $2 away → size = 5 shares.
The stop decides the size, not your confidence.
(Hypothetical arithmetic, excludes costs. Not a recommendation.)
@kaycue·Oct 3Guaranteed or "risk-free" returns. Regulators say no legitimate investment can promise this.
Urgency: "only today", "last 3 spots". Pressure removes the time you'd spend checking.
You can deposit, but withdrawing is "delayed". Test a small withdrawal early.
Run the free Scam Filter (in the sidebar) before any money moves.
@kaycue·Oct 3The chapter most beginners skip, and the one that matters most.
Size is an output: risk amount ÷ stop distance. Not "this one looks good, I'll go bigger."The free sample in the sidebar includes chapter 7 in full, the worked example, Exercise 7.1 and the complete sources list.
Educational only. Not financial advice.

Why it matters: US consumers reported $12.5 billion in fraud losses in 2024. Investment scams were the biggest category at $5.7 billion (FTC, March 2025).
Grab it in the sidebar → "🆓 Free Scam Filter". Share it with the friend who keeps getting added to "VIP forex" groups.
@kaycue·Sep 29You can lose 60% of your trades and still come out ahead. Here's the maths.
Break-even win rate = 1 ÷ (1 + average win ÷ average loss)
• Average win 1R → you need to win 50%
• Average win 1.8R → about 36%
• Average win 3R → 25%
Win rate on its own tells you nothing. The size of your wins compared with your losses matters just as much. That's why the journal in the book records R, not money.
(Hypothetical arithmetic, excludes costs. Not a result or a promise.)
