Welcome to Beginner Builders 🚀

This is a free community for beginners who want to learn how to build something real online.

I’m also learning and building along the way, so this isn’t a place for fake promises or overnight-money claims. We’ll explore digital products, useful online skills, problem-solving, and consistent execution together.

Introduce yourself below and answer:

What are you currently trying to build, and what is the biggest thing stopping you?

Let’s learn, take action, and improve together.

Why most people never launch their first Whop (and the 3 things that actually matter)

I see the same pattern over and over with people trying to start a business on Whop: they spend three weeks picking a logo and zero minutes talking to a potential customer.

Here's what I've learned matters, in order:

1. A specific person, not a general niche. "Fitness" isn't a business. "Busy dads over 35 who want to lose 20lbs without giving up beer" is. The narrower you go, the easier it is to write copy, price your offer, and know exactly where to find these people.

2. A live product beats a perfect one. Whop lets you spin up a product, a chat, and a checkout link in minutes. Ship the ugly version. You will learn more from your first 10 members than from another month of planning.

3. Price for the value, not your nerves. Most first-time creators underprice because charging money feels scary. If your community/course/tool genuinely solves a problem, a $29-49/mo price point is not aggressive — it's normal. Free tiers are great for building trust, but have a real paid tier from day one so you're not starting a monetization scramble from zero.

Started my own thing here — The Whop Playbook — as a free space to work through exactly this stuff with anyone else starting from scratch. Not a pitch, just sharing what's actually worked.
