Why flat-rate TikTok Shop offers cap your revenue (and the tier fix)
Most TikTok Shop sellers who package their strategies/services as a paid offer default to one flat monthly price. That's a mistake — here's why, and the fix.
The problem: A single flat price forces every buyer into the same bucket. Your $50/mo "just getting started" seller and your $5k/mo power seller who wants 1:1 sourcing help are paying the same amount for wildly different value. You either underprice the power sellers or overprice the beginners — and you leak revenue either way.
The fix — a 3-tier structure:
Entry tier — templates, SOPs, community access. Low price, high volume. This is your top-of-funnel; optimize for conversion, not margin.
Core tier — everything in Entry + live coaching/chat access + automation tooling. This should be priced where most of your revenue comes from.
Pro/VIP tier — 1:1 access, done-with-you sourcing/ad support, priority support. Small % of members, disproportionate % of revenue.
Why Whop specifically works well for this:
Weekly or monthly renewal billing is native — no separate subscription tool needed.
You can attach a short free trial (1-3 days) on your Core/Pro tier to lower the barrier to your higher-margin tier instead of funneling everyone to Entry.
Each tier can have its own chat/course/content access gated automatically — members only see what they paid for.
One tactical tip: if you're adding a trial, set it on the plan itself (Pricing settings) OR on a checkout link if you want to run the trial only through a specific funnel (e.g., a TikTok bio link) while keeping your main pricing page trial-free. Both work — pick based on whether you want the trial available everywhere or only in one funnel.
