3 Mistakes Every New Trader Makes (And How to Fix Them)

I've been trading across stocks, crypto, and forex for a while now, and the same mistakes keep popping up with beginners. Here's the breakdown:

1. Trading without a plan

Most beginners just buy whatever's trending on Twitter. No entry, no exit, no risk management. You wouldn't drive without a GPS — don't trade without a plan. Before every trade, write down: entry price, stop loss, take profit, and position size. That's it.

2. Overtrading

More trades ≠ more money. In fact, the best traders I know only take 2-3 high-conviction setups per week. Quality over quantity. If you're placing 10+ trades a day, you're gambling — not trading.

3. Ignoring risk management

This is the #1 account killer. Never risk more than 1-2% of your account on a single trade. It doesn't matter how good the setup looks. One bad trade shouldn't end your career.

The market will always be there tomorrow. Focus on survival first, then consistency, then scaling.
