Why 90% of traders fail prop firm challenges (and how to fix it)
Most traders who blow a prop firm challenge don't fail because of bad entries. They fail because of three things:
1. No edge, just vibes. They hop between strategies every week. One day it's ICT, next day it's SMC, next day it's scalping with a 200 EMA. You need ONE proven strategy and the discipline to execute it the same way every single session.
2. Risk management is an afterthought. They risk 2-3% per trade on a $100k challenge and wonder why they hit the drawdown limit in 3 days. On a funded account, I rarely risk more than 0.5-1% per trade. Boring? Yes. Funded? Also yes.
3. They trade their P&L, not the chart. Once you're down on a challenge, the psychological pressure makes you revenge trade, overtrade, and abandon your rules. The fix isn't more discipline — it's having a system so mechanical that emotions become irrelevant.
I built Tradewise Circle to solve all three. If you're serious about getting funded, the mentorship is open — limited spots.
